Bugatti on sunday booked. Now to book hotel - has anyone got their email address? TIA

pm'd

'h0344@accor.com'

for the attention of Manuel Lebourles

mention the Lotus on Track rate €38

Cheers all, the address was on the website, doh. Can someone post what cost they get quoted so we can make sure we're all getting the same deal.

Looks like I'll be going Newhaven Dieppe. It's the cheapest in terms of fuel and ferry cost and according to Google maps takes 1/2 hour longer in travel time than Portsmouth Lehavre. I know Google maps ETA's can be a bit suspect but its all i've got. Travel time for N/D is nearly the same as D/C which I thought curious but then it's longer behind the wheel. I know this is based on where i live but unless you live close to Dover you'll most likely come to the same conclusion. Jimmy's point about frequency of service of the chunnel is a valid one though.

Tunnel option works out at only £10 cheaper (assuming I paid the full £90 for the return journey and get 30mpg) than the Newhaven - Dieppe journey. But, is 2+ hours quicker as a total journey and no risk of Jo puking up on a rough crossing and no real pressure about making a fixed crossing time. So for me, it's no brainer - especially if Jo does decide to come. Bedford -> Folkestone - 140 miles Bedford -> Newhaven - 150 miles Bedford -> Portsmouth - 160 miles So no mega difference between departure points for me. It's the total travel time that does it for me. It all falls down when I have to add in 4 or 6 hours stuck on a ferry in the middle.

lol just me with em and darron with dean on the ferry this year then?

TBH George lad I reckon it'll make more sense for them to hit the tunnel too. Quicker, better crossing times and cheaper for them!!

bit late for that now!! booked it all up last night

:yeahthat: and another £26 this morning to get the right weekend. Would of booked with the masses if i had known as i enjoy the road trip. Everyone splits into groups anyway once off the tunnel. Oh well looks like Sutol may be using the ferry and hopefully a couple more. The less time sat in the VX the better so i like the ferry but the flexibility off the tunnel is good and would save me the cost of a hotel in Newhaven. Oh well meet you there :grouphug:

Im probably only doing the Bugatti day, partially due to the fact that I reckon August in central France will be hot. How crispy will the VX still be on the 2nd day if 2 trackdays back 2 back in the heat? Last year's experiences?
