Perhaps its cheap for a reason?

Not a comment I would expect from a mod. It is his car and is free to advertise it for whatever he likes.

No, what I mean is... if it was mint then it would be higher price.
So, yes he can sell for what he wants, but perhaps there is a reason for it to be cheaper than most.

Yes of course he is free to advertise it for however much he likes but there are a few things prospective purchasers should be aware of.

Sellers forum name is custom, link to ebay account shows he sold a VXR/220 chassis in '09.
Car for sale is in Crawley, Custom/Customized Bodyworks is in Crawley
Imran admitted/claimed his cousin owned Custom/Customized Bodyworks
Seller offers a repaint for any prospective buyer

Too many coincidences. The car is being sold by Imran or someone connected. Now, of course, this VX may have been repaired well and may be a fantastic buy, who knows, but not a risk I would want to take.

Thanks for clearing that up Coco :groupjump:

I can assure you 100% that I am not Coco, of course its obvious that this is a new account just to post on this thread. I've got my reasons not to post in my usual name and you'll have to make do with that

A nice one! You are really looking after us buyers on here. I feel secure.
Still though could be mint as Imran's last one :D !

With ref. to the values in general, they are quite cheap at the min, but as for loosing money ext, I paid £21.5k for mine 7 years ago, if I had spent that on any other year old car I feel sure it would be worth a lot less now than the VX is. Well almost any other car.

I'm sure I've seen this car for sale elsewhere a few months ago, and the same discussion happened there as well regarding the points raised above.

Why is the steering column shroud different? Appears to have an additional switch?

The 'up' / 'down' toggle switch is the standard internal central locking switch.
