We've been giving you a warm embrace for a few hundred years now but you're the ones giving us the cold shoulder treatment.

Awwww, tuck that bottom lip away and c'mere. We can make this all better. You can have a look up my kilt and have good a laugh. You can even have a forkful of my haggis. Touch my whisky though...

Will you all have to wear Kilts if it's a yes ? They do a nice Gordon tartan

Going Off topic for an Off topic post I know...

But would a 'correctly worn' Kilt work with a VX, given Scottish weather and known VX excess ventilation issues in its nether regions ?

I can see it slowing the pace at a Hoon...

Having worn a kilt in a VX the main issue is getting in and out whilst retaining dignity.

A kilt is made from a material called Jagedy-arsed-wool which is far too hot in most situations.  From experience, the draft from the cheese-grater vent in the footwell counteracts this perfectly.

The only issue is getting in and out without showing your nads to the world.

Is the carry on film correct then - that you're no meant to wear anything under? I always thought that was for comedic affect.

Don't know anything about a carry on film I find them generally awful to watch. The no undergarment thing is pretty normal though, yes.

Need a campaign poster.

Chap in a Kilt just starting to get out of a VX220. Appropriate slogans about the risks of voting Yes...

With enough publicity, I think it would make a big swing to the No side.

Needs something to make maximum impact (without upsetting the children). Any suggestions for best poster child ?

Gordon, you seemed keen ?

Yes, they are awful to watch. There wasn't much else to do in the 70's though.

It was this scene.

Depends on whether the kilt is you're own or a hire, and what the event and what time of day evening it is...

They are unconfortable if you're sitting around alot, but it feels better when standing up..

Next time I'll be wearing a kilt will most likely fall into the uncomfortable category - best man speech! :D

As long as you just keep the kilt in the hanging downwards position and I'm sure everyone will be comforable.

I think she articulates some key points very well (not surprisingly).

Of course the BBC is doing a terrible job of providing a balanced view...

I don't thing it brings anything new to the table. She sounds like someone who wants to vote no. She gets one vote like the rest of us.

Apart from a few bob to the war chest of course.

But I think she reiterates some good points that have been mentioned before and drowned out by the "Vote Yes and don't let let anyones else get a word in" section of the Yes camp.
