I don't have heedphones - so safe to turn on the speakers in the orifice?
A reasonably well constructed argument for anyone bothered to read (Scott need not apply )

Turns out after the massive market shock catastrophic downturn and end of all civilisation that happened yesterday the companies have all but fully recovered. Anyone seen it reported anywhere?
It was expected that they would recover, as it was only a poll indication, not the final vote result. But it was a warning indicator as to what we MIGHT see in the event of a yes majority vote..

Yes. I also saw, as part of the same story, about anecdotal evidence of institutions starting to repatriate money back in to England due to the uncertainty and post independence concerns.

Oh now it was expected.... I didn't see that reported anywhere Ross. Maybe you could point to where in any outlet or anything even you said indicated that? How convenient. Reading your blog is like listening to any labour man I've heard the whole campaign. The overbearing issue is that we've tried all that and we vote labour every time it makes no difference. We need bigger change. Bloody Ed Milliband doesn't even get the argument a week before the chuffing vote! What hope do we have for change?
Why would it necessarily be reported? I thought you didn't read the MSM anyway, prefering underground sources such as "the internet"..
Its been reported in many outlets that the effect was to cause shares to drop as some money (a relatively insignificant amount in banking terms) was being shifted. The share price is only the predicted value of a company, which fell briefly. Its the potential for capital flight that's the concern (to me anyway, share price drops makes good headlines).
I'm sorry if this is inconvenient..
But it makes some good and critical points as to why independance is not the solution to our problems, and that most of the nationalist mantra's are fundamentally flawed. As I said, I would not expect you to read it (that was quick reading BTW).

One thing I've noticed recently is that there is a little more "Yes" coverage in the papers now.
Probably jumping on the bandwagon now that it's looking more likely.

Apparently sky news have been showing live coverage of a Saltire being raised above Number 10. Somebody has lost the plot.
It'll only be burnt on the pole on the 18th.

Ah, there it is. I knew I could rely on Myles to bring me back online
First to Photoshop a yes onto it gets a fiver.
How many pages do you think this thread will stretch to by the time the referendum result is announced?
