My Dad lives in Leven, he worked at the power station - look it up on Wikipedia. He's 76 this year. He's going to vote no and believes Salmon has lowered the voting age to try and get extra votes. His view.

No sh*t... I wouldnt put it passed him to arrange Bravehart to be shown on a TV stations a couple of days before the referendum and a Scotland England football match where his gives all the players laxatives before the game, just to try and swing some votes.

The way I see it is that as part of the UK all polititions quote shite about what they promise and what they will do. We vote these people in as a collective in the UK. The guys in Scotland keep on saying that they can change it all if we get an independant Scotland, bit what's the difference between these charlatans and the ones we already have in power. I agree a lot of the YES campaign sounds great on paper, but so do the majority of policies that people currently get voted in on and never happen. I just don't trust any of them either way, and that's why I'm undecided.

If you have nothing intelligent to add, don't bother. Any mention of fking braveheart makes you a fanny.

The guy (Salmond) is a clown. Any credibility associated to independence is slowly being ebbed away by his idiocy. Scolympians anyone?

Its good television for us English, much the same as the Scots revel in our footballing misery!

Actually I think he's okay as a personality, much like Farage. Dubious policies and not much substance is the real problem rather than his tv persona

I just think he is doing the Yes vote a terrible disservice. His foolhardy actions, like the support the 'Scolympians', waving a Saltire at Wimbledon behind Cameron's head for no other reason than 'photobombing' him, and his continued victorious posturing over Cameron ducking a televised debate over the whole independence issue.

He conveniently ignores the fact that even if he destroys Cameron in a debate over it, the polls say that twice as many Scots are likely to vote no as would vote yes.

I think its best for Scotland to do what benefits Scotland, you don't want to be dragged down by the stone with England and Wales. However, it needs to be a robust plan. He doesn't have one, his whole approach is fuelled by his Anglophobia.
