What would a spoiled ballot paper give? Would that just be cast aside as a non vote or will it default to something?

Yes already lost as many turned up to vote, only to find they weren't allowed to use crayons.. :P

No voters were heard to be struggling and asking how to spell "X". Folding has been hard for those with six fingers and the right handed ones are really struggling....

Nationalists accusing others of being nationalists..

Was just behind an elderly chap this AM while voting, and I caught a glimpse of his voting card (wasn't looking honest). He'd scribled "NO" in the no box..

Its more of a red hand of ulster type salute Stu...like the one the hearts fan was arrested for a couple of weeks back. I won't dwell on it. Should still be fine though Ross. As long as his intention was clear.

I find it more worrying that a lot of the Yes comes from directly on the border, in a way it almost proves my point more than anything that Scots dislike being reminded of the English being so close, also perhaps an indication of tensions in the event the vote doesn't go their way?

Seen that. As said before, the Yes people are far more prolific on social media.

The strength of the no vote will come from those from those less connected..

Makes me laugh though - although I won't doubt they are genuine, the number of people saying "I was a no voter, but just as I got there, I changed to a yes! #voteyes"

See the nutters are out burning union jacks, the dark side of all this that we don't want to see :(

Just as bad as the twitter trolls wishing andy murray died along with the many in dunblaine,i don't agree with either..but worse will come whatever the outcome...just the minority of small minded idiots.
