Kinda flicked over the last 3 pages of posts... whats wrong with the EP rear towing eye ?

they should be pretty cheap in comparison, (£55ish). however I'm not sure how comfortable I'd feel designing something like this in case it broke.

I use a contractor at work whos company does pull tests, so may be able to get a sample one load tested...

 

will look into it if there's interest
