Very true James . But at least they did Avatar in 3D
My Panasonic Tx-36Pg50 TV is 3D I'll have you know. It sticks out so far into the room the picture is right in front of your eyes.

You couldn't resist the lure any more then Graeme?
Wanna buy a TV?
Don't really pay for TVs.
First one came from an old mate on pistonheads. Cost us a bottle of wine. Gave that to Naomi's grandparents. Got a bottle of wine for our trouble.
Second one (a £10,000 plasma - well it was when it was new) was given to us for free, and I bunged him £50 for his trouble. It broke, and I sold it for £50 spares or repair.
Current one came from the parents, and yes, it cost us nothing.
Even new TV prices are coming down now, not sure if they'll come down far enough for us to continue with this train of thought though.
Wolfy should bring it to the national. Raffle it off for charity. Winner can do what they want with it.
I'd suggest either or 'ing it to death - well it's not going to fit in a VX220 boot in one piece is it.

... and I for one wholeheartedly disagree with the disgraceful stereotype that all Jocks are tight.

Just had new neighbours move in (they're renting) and a quick cheeky view into their living room reveals an old CRT that is smaller than mine. Think I'll go cold calling tonight....................
Trick or treat door stopping isnt until October......but nothing like introducing them to the swingers down Tarrgon Avenue though as quickly as possiblee....

Not sure who they are H or where Tarrgon Avenue is. Maybe its up the road from Tarragon Way.

Seriously has no one pulled the plug in this thread yet?
Have managed to stay away from it for this long, but 23 pages is just getting silly.
