I'm not In Mrs W's good books at the moment. I should have been more 'elf and safety conscious cos, and I kid you not, she wandered into the hall in the dark last night, fell over it, skinned both shins, bruised her knee and winded herself.

Good news is she didn't damage the TV though when she went over. :lol:


Suggest you invest in some light bulbs..when is Mrs W's birthday, they would make a good present :happy:

Its not only the TV that is in the way............the old unit it sat on is just as bad.

I see...I get the picture, the old enormous TV stand at the bottom of the stairs, light bulbs broken, wife not wearing night vision goggles, Trick for life insurance claims...you've been scuppered my lad!!

'fraid I'm keeping the unit H. Its part of a set which is in the loft of a house we're renting out. So it'll be reunited with its other parts in the future.



I was talking to a friend who need a tv just like yours but he wanted the unit to stand it on as well..... :(

You must be thinking we're out to test card your patience. Seriously though, would you split it? There could be some interest in the batteries from the remote, the flex or indeed the 3-pin socket and Fuse :P The market for old TVs seems to be a bit static. Is it standard or have you tuned it?
