Sounds like a plan Essex boys.
So Matt, as the Beds Fezzasus' heater expert, does that mean we can have a fitting day at yours - so you can advise us on what we're doing right/wrong? Oh and punch the f*%k out of the old heater boxes after we're finished removing them?

We should make a collection of all the old heater units, stack them up and have a big VX bonfire to celebrate. ;-)

I only beat the sh!t out of the original to get it out of the car in pieces, as I'd had to partially break it already because of the fuggered fixing. I'd also got a perfect OEM spare, so I wasn't in the slightest bit sentimental about it and it probably saved an hour of frustration trying to wrestle it out of the front compartment. Plus, it made me happy. Very happy.

I won't be punching the crap out of anybody elses, in-car or out. I've counted 17 individual wounds on my right hand and only a few less on my left.

By all means. As Graeme suggested, I'm more than happy to take up an advisory role and to have a not inconsiderable chuckle when you all discover the state of your hands, once the VX has done it's best to eat them alive. I'll even supply the plasters and the cable ties.
