Just a quick bump.
Are things progressing quietly in the background are grinding to a halt ?
Finances are just about starting to recover from VX Purchase and Family holiday. Hoping to have good heating before the Autumn...
Thanks,
Zuber
I will be able to provide heaters to all that have registered their interest here by the autumn. The design is finalised and tested, I have ordered the first batch of enclosures and am arranging to import the blowers.

Great idea. I would probably want that. What is the additional cost likely to be?
Minimal; between £5 and £10 depending if I go for perforated aluminium or a foam type mesh. Need to evaluate which one works better (in terms of flow reduction, blockages, filtration) before committing to a type
Thankfully I have a crud-collecting alcanata dash which will make comparison easy

Optional I guess as some people might have mesh over the pickups in the crashbox.
But I'd say that's a minority.
Good point, i'll keep it as an option but assume most people will go for it, which means it should be cheaper.

Will it be easily removable for cleaning
The way it is mounted means that it will essentially self clean - the fan blows the debris upwards towards the filter, when the fan stops the debris will fall past the fan and out of the unit.
Obviously the debris will need removing periodically, but with the access available that shouldn't be more than a 10-15 minute job.
I should have the first complete unit by next week and will add photos + description to it as seeing it might be clearer.

Looks OEM from this angle (and I'm sure many others ). So will the production line be up and running soon then?

Thanks, and yes - i've already started collecting parts for the production run - I have 10 enclosures here. Expect 6 to 8 weeks until they are available as this is mainly dependant on how quickly I can ship the blowers from china.
