A big thumbsup from me. After a double impact on the screen from a stone several months ago in the driver's line of sight and with an impending MoT that it would have failed as a result, I entrusted my car to Autoglass in Northampton over the last 24 hours. They've done a smashing (not literally!) job. Knew exactly what they were dealing with and what to do. First windscreen replacement since the car rolled off the production line. I can see clearly now. B)

And just to add that when I asked them how much they would be billing CCI, they told me that it was only about £400. Seems like a bargain.

They had mine from about 2pm until around 9 the next morning, think they want to make sure it all goes properly and that it has the right guys doing it normally.

Autoglass Bedford did mine in 3 hours. I barely got home before they were on the phone to say it was ready for collection but if I wanted to leave it for another hour that would be good.

interesting. I'm pretty sure my CCI policy does not have windscreen cover, due to track days.

I definatately have windscreen cover with CCI but yeah, don't think you're covered for it on track. My excess was £75.
