So, it's a lot quicker to map than I thought it would be. We're there next friday for 2 cars.

Safe journey back. So out of interest, did they dyno the car before and after? ie what was the base map pushing?

Noticed a few odd glitches namely accelerating in 4th gear say at 40 mph it stuttered and no power for an instant. Not like a lag but a total loss of power. Similar to the feeling if any of you have had it, when a scan guage is on to higher data flow rate and the ECU gets grumpy and makes the car stutter. Only way I can describe it. Although the scan gauge was on I made certain the data rate was on slow. Each time the engine carried on running so not like a coil pack/ water ingress issue.

Happened twice and then no more. Got it back it the garage and when the engine was idling had a quick nose in the back but all seems tickety boo. First time it has been driven for two weeks but it was at least 30 minutes into drive before issue arose.

Thoughts?

Mine is spluttery like that when cold. In fact occasionally it won't reve beyond ~2k rpm till warmed up a little, and under 2k rpm response is more or less a big flat sport and not that good until you feel the SC 'come on boost' (for want of a better description) about 2k rpm. Its ok when warmed up, and hopefully its just a base map issue that will get resolved on Monday..

Is it driving better now?

:D So here is said graph. 249.98 BHP 212.58 ftlb As far as I'm concerned it touched the 250 line  Great drive back. Very different again. Flat spots gone, acceleration is much better than before, very easy to light up the tyres in 2nd thats for sure :) Just goes soooo well. Very happy man. Cant't fault CMS - nice bunch, helpful, knowledgeable and great bacon and sausage roll for brekky. I will forgive Mark for his comment " er, not bad for a noisey car ". @Cocopops - base map did not really look at. Straight on and take out rev limiter and then give it some :) Steffan then remotely altered some fueling and jobs done. Got there at 9.30am and left at 12pm - but they did change plugs as I got tempted by shiney packets in reception  Got some boring vids which I will post up if they are any good. Roll on the summer

I'll be wanting new plugs too given how rich the current map is. Also too scared to change them myself (or cba :P)
