No, there is no movement on price.

The brackets in the link from Seriously Lotus are made of aluminium, my one are made of steel.

I've had a reason to make them of steel when we choice the material.

If you won't them lighter and cheaper, take the brackets  from Seroisly Lotus.

Sorry Steffen,

I wasn't trying to belittle your product, jiust wanted to make sure this was the best price we could get - and whether there was a deal to be had with a larger order size.

I'm still interested, and will have a think about my setup, and may come back to you with an order in the next few weeks.

Isn't that I want to defend my product like "the only one".

Isn't it.

There was a technical reason to make them of steel, which increase the costs.

That's all.

Hi all, Just ordered a set of these and I would like to pick your brains a bit. I'm not in favour of reinventing things and am interested how you are connecting the 2 pots. A longer flexible brake pipe back to the original fitting or what?

The original brake pipe works perfect.

Forgot to say Steffen, got back from Egypt on 30th dec and spot calipers arrived on 31st - couldn't have been any better timing wise! Anyway, the spot calipers look beautiful. Almost a shame to mount them behind the wheels! Thanks very much. G

Yes they are a real work of engineering art. Will be interested in hearing your thoughts on how well they hold.

On my installation I had to machine up a extra spacer to mount the hand brake cable, as the outter cable was not long enough to reach the cable mounting point on the caliper.

Hi Dave,

do you made some pics?

Want to understand the problem and to solve it for the future.

Hi Steffen,

I have them on my camera, and will up load if I can find my cable connections...

It just seemed that there was a differnce in the point where the original (outer) hand brake cable attached to the OEM caliper, and the spot caliper. I could not pull any more of the outer cable back towards the spot caliper. Perhaps If I went back along the whole cable to the hand brake I might have been able to find some more 'Slack'. Found it easier to make up an spacer sleave instead.

The original spacer wasn't long enough?

Sorry, but there is no specific solution for the 295. Of course the handbrake for the 308 discs will work also with the 295 discs.

Are the parts for 295 (308) disk available also?

Hi Steffen,

Sorry about the delay, just got back in the UK.

Here are some pictures of the 'Extended spacer' which I knocked up on my lathe and milling machine.

Really just a copy of yours, but longer, and together with an internal stop for the cable end.

Ok I can see the cable stop, but at the end the length is the same or not?

It's a little longer but not much. The extra lenght of the spacer is there really to hold the cable end stop which fits around the outer part of the brake cable, in line with the  the inner cable and spacer.

If you like I could post up the measurments.

Dave
