Yep, that's who made AtomX's custom cables. thumbsup Might be worth sending them some fuggered ones, to see if they could replicate them at a reasonable price.

The Europa has the M32 6 speed box, don't know if they are interchangeable, suppose the same as the VXR?

Tuthill are now Cable Craft and I have spoken to a helpful chap there called Anton. I am confident we will come up with the solution and get this right and they are now aware of the issues with the cables.

Excellent. That is seemingly good news Mike. If they take it seriously and can resolve the issues that thats good all round. It's a shame it slowed you down in your prep and may come too late to be of direct benefit to you, but here's hoping.

Well the plan is they want to supply Elise Shop with them as stock items so they need to get it right.

in fairness they were aware of a problem when hangar111 tried to fit them a couple of months before i did, and then aware again when i had a problem with mine not fitting/working properly. Although I agree Anton was helpful in getting me a refund having taken over from another chap.

If you want to mention Dave Williams and the returned cable due to articulation in one of the joints, this may trigger them to look back at that one which i returned and solve that issue?

Dave.

And you can add Harry Noble to the list as well. I enquired into some form of refund for the extra work involved in getting them to fit. Was only a short email and reply that I got so they might not have much on it. Will make it easier to get new ones if they are going through Elise Shop. Was a nightmare trying to get the 1 chap that knows about it all as they seem very busy or he was never in! Quick note - they where Cable Craft Motions back when I ordered mine, May/June 2011.

Hi Folks, I have joined your forum in the hope of being able to resolve this cable issue. I am Anton from Cablecraft. Should it be a problem that a possible component supplier be on the forum I can leave? I understand the issue to be that the Select Cable does not allow enough travel to move the gear lever to the 1st/2nd rail. By moving the lever to the 1st/2nd rail the cable is pushed & the cable bottoms at gear lever end. Is any body in a position to send me photographs of the gear shift mechanism, or be local to Sussex & have one that I could possibly come & view?
