If anyone has a matching key and is going to the peak district next Sunday I'd be grateful if you would let me borrow it on the day :) . Going to order some ordinary bolts to replace, local garage wanted £4 per bolt!

Just had a look at my old set mate, sorry different, mine look more like a six pointed
star, I got 20 new bolts off ebay for £17 a few months ago,if you pay for the postage & I
can always send you 4, pm me.

Balls! Would have taken you up on that but just ordered 4 for £7 from wheelfittingsolutions.co.uk. I'll take my bolts and wheel brace to the peaks meet and swap them over if someone has a matching key.

Definaltly option 2 when you do get it off! Royal PITA those locking bolts are, and where's the key nut when you need to get the wheel off as the bonnet release has broken... 1st thing I do is order 4 'standard' bolts from EP and sling the locking nuts in a box in the garage!!!

Well lets hope you get it off, this is what they ended up
doing with my wifes car the other week as some idiot had
put two of the locking nuts on way too tight, this was the only
way to remove it , after the locking wheel nut adaptor had
broken.

My bolt above was removed without a key, no damage to the bolt or the wheel so don't worry too much. The replacment key arrived 5 days too late!

Just changed wheels today and noticed that |I had lost the locking wheel nut.

I tried a 19mm six sided socket, no joy!

Tried a 3/4 inch on an extension with a lump hammer, job done!

First one took longer as I was looking for the tools, the others were really easy.

I had ordered replacement bolts and they should have arrived today!
