those rear wheel arches are very wide - don't look right to me, especially from front that front 3/4

Thats because the wheels are actually back to front....the fronts are actually on the back, and the rears are on the front. Make it looks wider than it is.

Still wide at the rear mind.

The other alternative is to go for really big spacers....but I'm trying to avoid this!

I know it's a bit of a pikey fix but I run bigish spacers on track and there are no issues. It's just having the knowledge that they are there.

My heart would say buy the right offsets but my head would win the argument when the spacer option came in at half the cost.

Nothing wrong with spaces, but I need 80mm either side, Thinking of going half way and sourcing a wheel around ET10 (ET38 as std), then going for a 20mm spacers either side. Opens up a bit more choice then.

These - http://www.gnjmotors...ntre-Bore-.html

I've used 16mm ones in the past too.

Change the hubs to what?

...not sure if I get what you mean. Lotus hubs are 4x100 bolt holes with a centre bore of 56.6 - same as a lot of vauxhalls. Not many alloys off the shelf have low offsets these days which is what in struggling with.

I put my rear ET35's on the front and the 16mm made them ET19 which made them very close to the original ET20 fronts. 225's were a bit too tight so I went down to 12mm.

Is there anything you could use from the Exige v6 to help you out in terms of wheels and hubs? Link to spec
