Mine has got the momo race gear knob. Last owner thought it was an optional extra? But it is so much nicer to use than the OEM one.
Any chance of a Pic?

I've got one of those with the gear pattern on the top. Feel free to have a nosey round my wagon at the next meet.

I couldn't deal with the angular shape of DoO's either as I prefer something that sits more comfortably in the palm.
Like exhaust noise, it's personal.
Yep, it's an acquired taste for sure, personally I don't like having a large hand full as it seems to reduce the feel and accuracy of shifts. I actually ran with no knob on at all for a short spell and quite liked the feel of just palming the stick into gear.
