Epic stuff as usual Steffen, I always look forward to watching your vids.... just love your 100% commitment and driving style makes for fantastic viewing!..... Not sure if you saw my little post the other day...... but our cars look as though they are quite similarly set-up i.e absolutely no under steer thumbsup Keep em coming :D P.S just wanted a little link - not trying to destroy your thread with my stuff!

Always find the Exiges have a more neutral under steer oversteer balance in the wet due to the shorter wheel base... down side is when you step outside of a certain window i.e push to far they are quite tricky to catch...... where as the VX's break pretty bloody quickly and often at the rear first but are quite controllable in a slide ...... Downside is that they are less neutral in the wet..... In the dry ours feel more stable and to me feel as though they have better turn in vs the shorter wheel base exige which would explain why we have more front end than rear end in the wet..... Would be interested to hear your thoughts........ but its certainly what I feel I have driven both on track in the wet. Obviously set-up will have a massive effect I am just talking about natural traits of the chassis

Can't say how is difference between Exige and Speedster regarding the different wheel base.

I know that the Exige of my friend has more downforce and I think that make the differenz especially on wet conditions,
further I'm sure that I have had the wrong tyre pressure.(to high)

To increase the performance of my Speedster for the new season I decided to copy the Coli Chapman way.
Anything is checked if I really need it or if it can be sostitute by a lighter piece.

So I put out completly the heatersystem. Also the tubes and the water. Like you can see on the foto, the water comes out and turns directly back in the engine.
Also I bring the WAES tank in the front and in a lower position.

Changed the engine cover.

and mount a Aluminium pulley

Posted Image

Put out the heat exchanger

Posted Image

Also inside i put out everything what I don't need to drive.

Posted Image

And at the end i mount also 15" rims and tyres.
I'm very happy that this works, not immidiately, but now it works, together with my 308mm 4pot brake!

The result is that the accelaration is now 4,0seconds from 100km/h (60miles) to 160km/h (100miles) instead the 4,4 from last year.

So all that got you almost half a second quicker?
or perhaps your launch skills have improved over 12 months? ;)

I start all the time from 80km/h with full trottle in third gear, there is no launch difference. You can see the old performance on the last post on the first page.

I'd love to have these 15" ATS DTC, but Regelin don't want to have them made anymore as there is not enough demand :(

Here my Video from this weekend from the "Lotus and Light Cars Challenge" at Magione last Satuday.

I'm very happy now with my setup, although it is said, that the cornering force kit only works with soft springs and my one are not so soft (570/685)
Furthermore, the Kumho V700 fit perfectly. (K60)

Here the result first 20 of 73(not best lap, but the middle of the best 5 laps):
