Given the trouble they seemed to have with Jamie's Exige compound charging sounds a proper ballache to programme correctly.I was thinking of a compound charged car surely OBD tuner could cope with this ??

Wow, what an amazing project Steffen, I don't know how I missed this one. I've just been reading it all, well done. Great to see a turbo implementation of a turbo with Peter's software working (and clearly adaptable to the turbo). Hopefully some of those videos will silence some of the imbalanced nonsense the anti-turbo brigade come up with on here. It surprised me that you wasted the GTRs with "just" 370 BHP, just goes to show the potency of our light weight VX/Speedsters. Congrats again
One little thing though, I can clearly hear your turbo stalling, what/how are you dumping the boost from the boost-pipes when you come off the gas ?
Thank you!
What are you hearing isn't stalling of the turbo but the internal pop-off, which sounds so.

This are still pics from the producer.
Hope with this I can run more than 15 minutes on the track without cooling down the car,
otherwise I have always to change my original driveshaft!!!
Last link shows my driveshaft after SPA 2 month ago.

Looking at the (dried-up) crud I'd say joint got hot, boot inflated and cut/failed, grease leaked out of joint, kept on driving, joint went dry/contaminated, balls in joint welded themelves to the cage or outside, seized up and bits bent/broke and mangled up.
The new tripode joint should be more tolerant to higher driveshaft angles, but should still need decent cooling and keep the grease in there (BTW.. need specific tripode grease, not CV grease as that has solids that gunk up the tripode needle-bearings) or it ends up the same as the original plunging CV joint. (have seen similarly mangled tripodes on some cars too..)
Bye, Arno.

€285
It is organized by LLCC (Lotus and Light Cars Challenge) but it is more a Time Attack than a normal track day.
