Hi.
I'm looking into some softer rubber for the speedster this summer, I've been running some different Bridge stone tires throughout the years and clumsy as i cam, i haven't written down which tire was the softest etc.
Do you guys know any good way to get a hold of the "index" of how soft the tire is, pref the Bridgestone tires?
Also, what's your though of the different brands in wet weather?
I've tried some cheaper brands such as Nankang etc and the difference is catastrophic, Bridgestone IMO have by far the best performance on all surfaces except frozen ground

The UTQG wear rating may give you an indication, the lower the wear rating the softer they tend to be.
Other than that, I guess you need to get the shore number, that says how firm the rubber is.

I was reading up on the UTQG rating but it only applies to US markets? it doesn't appear on any of the Swedish sites that i usually buy my tires from..
Can you recommend any UK sites that ship the rubber? there's no extra fees for me to buy from the UK so i'd rather find a good retailer that actually knows a thing or two..
I actually found some useful information on bridgestones website btw, they do have performance gradings (dry, wet, lifespan etc) but they are all "fictional" numbers and doesn't really tell how soft the rubber actually is but i assume Bridgestone have fair numbers..
All i need to do now is to find a retailer that sell the Potenza RE070 tires, never tried them but they look sweet:

So, any good retailers in the UK with descent prices?
