Hi all
I've had a bmc carbon dynamic airbox induction kit on a couple of previous vehicles and now fancy fitting the larger (150mm) diameter one on my VXT (currently have a k&n panel in the standard airbox with no AMM issues). It's improved the sound and, I felt, throttle response. So, what are peoples opinions?
I've done a bit of a search with not much success, although no-one appears to have had AMM issues with one so far from what i gather.
Is it easy to fit?
Any reducers required to fit it to the throttle body- if so what size?
Opinions in general?
Many thanks for any help.
I've got to remove the rear p/s wheel to replair my abs sensor anyway so may take out the arch liner and give it a go while i'm at it!

It's just a couple of jubilee clips to do up so yes it should be.

Probably not. What pipe work do you get with it? Would a pro alloy intake pipe be better suited. If it uses the flexible ribbed conduit pictured with some of the kits that may suffer collapsing under load like the OEM one can...

Stick with the one that was designed to work with the car. Chances are a generic add on that is not specifically tailored to a certain vehicle will be compromised in many of its applications.
