Well, the guys are still on it but we are confident of getting out. This far, 2 lights, 1 bumper 1rad, 1 ic, 1 bumper bar, 1 side sill 1windscreen, 1 track rod, 1 arb, 2 sheer plates. All up? £4k that's my whole parts budget done in one hit. Crap

I can't help but think JT is now playing with the big boys but on pocket money budgets.

The mistaken use of social media rears its head again. In that one sentence there are at least 5-6 large mistakes. First, you raise the expectation of repairing the car in time. Usually teams tend to downplay their chances and then make a miracle appearance. That's a nice 'surprise' for anyone who has a vested interest, such as sponsors for example. Second. You reveal which parts you are replacing, when the car has had plenty of chance to be inspected by other teams. Thus allowing judgment to be passed on your engineering prowess. Third. You reveal what it has cost Fourth. You reveal you can't afford it. Fith. All of the above shows that you can't manage a team with the required discretion, careful management of press, media, etc. Sixth, by singing off with 'Crap' you show that the first test, of the first race, of the first season and the pressure has been too much for you. Grade: F
