After being in the thorney garage at donington today I got home and I'd forgot to ask him the question that's been bugging me?on his vxr logo on the doors bonnet and boot he has a green "r" after the red "r"? Vxr was a shortened down name for the vx racing?so I've always wondered why thorney came up with the green r? Anyone got the answer please??👍

It's just his green/black standard TMS livery I guess. I've got a very bad feeling about JT in BTCC now.

Dunno if there's any logic behind the nomenclature but TMS produced their own range of brand new pre-modified VXR-R and VXR-S Corsa's and Astra's a couple of years back.

I was wondering if it could be some of his own branding to a modified vxr brand and with there main colour being green it makes alot of sense. Wasn't sure if thorney had a stutter and he couldn't get his r's out 😃

I'm intrigued as to how JT will 'manage' this one away if/when he pulls out entirely Not watched any of it today due to F1 and VX, and no feed oh BTCC on Yahoo.....did AmD do Ok?

We changed the engine on Saturday evening and had problems in the first race with new engine. Due to those problems we decided not to run the risk of causing further expensive damage. So the decision was taken not to go out for rounds 5 & 6. VXR sorry I missed you but if anyone ever wants to have a look around the car please ask any of the AmD Staff to find me and I'll show you round. JT ? seems to be somewhat out of his depth. Not quite as easy to build and drive a race winning car as he thought.

Yeah he got 2seconds tool off his time so he came third then the focus was eliminated cos he's boost was set to high so shedden won and Plato was second

I believe he always had good intentions

I can think of at least 10 occasions when he didn't. To my mind he's a modern day snake oil merchant and i'm amazed he's still in business.

He should return to the city as a merchant of lubricants
