I called Chris Tullett exhausts looking to see if I could get a deal on a single system, but alas not possible. However, Andy said that he could do 15% discount if 3 of the same item were purchased.

So based on this, this is the revised pricing:

Single Item (approx) £15 + VAT
System (approx) £25 + VAT

The following is a link to the website and details all the items

http://www.christull.../shop/vx220.asp

Lead time is currently 6 weeks - it's currently their busiest time of the year!!

If we can get to 10 items of the same he will do free delivery on those items. Eg 10 manifolds in group buy. Individual orders a manifold or a manifold and something else, delivery will be free - this equates to a minimum of £15 to £25 plus vat.

Payment terms
I intend to run the GB to the end of April to get sufficient numbers. On conclusion, I will need individual names, addresses and email addresses along with order. This will be sent to Chris Tullett Exhausts who will create proforma invoices per person. Invoices will need to be paid before fabrication starts. Lead time is 6 weeks, hence GB closes End April, Fabrication starts in June, Delivery in June.

So to start this off:

1) Big_bazza99 - 2.2NA 200 cell downpipe & re-packable silencer

Might be up for a manifold for the 2.2NA. This should fit most systems and give some benifits once mapped.

paul, if you are truely thinking about supercharging go straight for the 2.5" 200cell cat option with manifold. you will kick yourself if you dont and you decide to supercharge it in the near future :)

Well I have a SC vx with milltek and 200cell cat. Would the 2.2 NA manifold be a good option or not?

Think my wording was taken wrong.

He has said what the stock system is (2.25") but you can either get the tullet in 2.5" and 3". Either will give power gains.

2.5" will start to be restrictive over 270bhp (which you should be just below with stage 2SC)
3" is only needed above 270 Bhp and from what others have said is stupid loud.

*also 3" needs to be purchased as a full system as it moves the joins. The 2.5 you can just purchase which part you like!

Yeah think I'll stick with the manifold then. It'll be better than the stock one and help with my final map. Also I wouldn't want to get stage3 as for 40bhp you need to spend big.

Chris thats not true at all, I got 306bhp with 2.5" and 200cell cat but your right about the 3" manifold moving the join. Paul, If tullet only sell the 2.5 or 3 get the 2.5, there wont be a problem running a 2.5 on standard engine :)

I could be very easily persuaded to purchase these 2 if I can continue using my 2.25" piper back box?

2.2 NA
Manifold - ORIGINAL PRICE - £512.66 DISCOUNTED PRICE - £435.76
Downpipe 200 cell cat - ORIGINAL PRICE - £393.31DISCOUNTED PRICE - £334.31

When is payment likely be due?

If people are looking at the 3" system then I'd recomend asking about additional silencers. Mines too loud despite the claims on the tullet website. If there's a decat silencer buy I might be interested. The stock 3" is too loud and drones on too much for my liking!

I said starts to be restrictive. My guess (but I'm no expert) would be below 270bhp you wouldn't see any difference between the 2.5" and 3". Above 270bhp you might see a couple of extra ponies if you changed from the 2.5" to the 3". If its worth the extra £££ and noise is a personal choice though...

306bhp though... Must be fun. Never been in anything apart from my standard NA. I can only imagine what over twice the power would feel like :-)

The 2.5" starts to become restrictive at 300bhp. So is perfect for a stage2 or 2.5 etc. But for standard na i wouldnt get 3". 300bhp is pretty handy :)
