Clearly free deliver only counts for those buying a manifold or a manifold and something else.

the engine would breathe much easier, but depending on other mods, you could see somewhere between 10 and 25 bhp gains 1) Big_bazza99 - 2.2NA Manifold, 200 cell downpipe & re-packable silencer 2) Chris P Duck - 2.2NA Manifold 3) ArticMonkey - 2.2NA Manifold 4) Tommo - 2.2NA manifold, 200 cell down pipe and silencer 5) Bargi - 2.2NA Manifold 6) johnnyn - 2.2 Manifold (z22se.co.uk) 7) jazzmaster - 2.2NA Manifold & 200 cell down pipe 8) Ciderbooze - 2.2NA manifold, 200 cell down pipe and silencer Now at: 8 x Manifold 4 x 200 cell downpipes 3 x silencers 2 manifolds to go for free delivery on all manifold associated orders saving a minimum of an extra £18 which is about another 3-4%

Can you confirm the prices quoted include vat apart from the potential delivery charges which need vat adding?

Checked prices with Andy and they do include VAT so the discounted price quoted is what you pay (maybe 1p either way due to rounding).

I will take a manifold too - will update list later as on phone.

Shame a couple have dropped out, just 2 more manifolds needed for free delivery. :)

Cheers :)

Still looking for 2 more takers for the NA manifold to get free delivery. I understand the manifold liberates a good chunk of power.

Quick question... Is it worth wrapping the manifold and/or downpipe? Did some browsing which seems to suggest it may give you a couple of extra Bhp by dropping engine temps but a fair few people saying it will make no difference and corrode any wrapped parts quicker. Anyone with experience?

Never heard of it giving more power from reduced heat? Some say it helps but others think the heat is then transfered to other area's like the cat and back box.

That's what I read (but you can't believe everything you read!). Not sure it applies to vx's as the air box is reasonably close to the vent but the theory says lower engine bay temps, colder air (thus more dense air) drawn in, therefore more power.

Yes but the air box is no where near the heat and will be taking in forced air from the vents. Look in the forsale section for nimbus heat shield. You will need this as you loose the OEM shield when fitting the manifold (go halfs with you).

Is it worth letting the GB run to the end of the month, or is it worth concluding the GB and getting the order in to Chris Tullett?

Any views? If there is a "Yes" consensus, I will drop a PM out to everyone on the list and I will need the following details to supply to Chris Tullett as they will deal with the invoice and subsequent despatch:
  • Name
  • Email address
  • Postal address
Thanks for the interest and commitment.

Funds will be in at the end of the month but don't mind getting the ball rolling.

The Tullett manifold is stainless, so shouldn't be any corrosion issues

OK - I guess others may also be waiting to the end of the month too - I will drop a PM out to all and also speak with Andy early next week.
