It was filmed with a go pro and a Sony hand held camera and edited using premier pro. Filmed all day Sunday and took four hours to edit yesterday

Cracking vids! Do you use go pro or something else. I've had a 335D M Sport Touring, superb cars! I saw my VX220 Turbo on Ebay I thought what the hell. A trip to Bournemouth from Northumberland and a rather long joruney home and it was mine! Had it a month got bored so changed turbo, maf and injectors for VXR items. That made it more fun with a particularly nice wastgate noise. Not enough power so removed pre-cat and re-mapped stage 2.5 now running just shy of 300bhp. I would highly recommend this conversion to all VX220 Turbo owners!

Cheers mate I do use a go pro hero 2 and a hand held camera with tripod when necessary ! My car is a stage 2 and plenty fast enough for me at the minute I am going to concentrate on upgrading suspension wheels and drivetrain first.

Why the need for a LSD, you running uber power?

Just for the record, the effect of a LSD is not really related to power (unless you deliberately wheel spin). It's effect is to aid cornering where the 2 drives wheels are trying to turn at different speeds. This is is governed by tyres/geo/suspension, so putting one in a lower powered VX will still help a good deal.

HTH.

To put it simply I want to be able to go sideways rather than spinning an inside wheel everytime i try and use the power out of junctions /roundabouts etc.

personally I hate going sideways in the VX, mid engined cars can be handfull at the best of times when pushing

I'll have to look at your vids when I next get some youtube time :)

Snow or any low grip conditions are good to learn the balance of your car in my opinion
