Thats not too bad a graph really. It probably looks splikey because the operator didn't use a high damping factor to mathematically smooth the lines.

Can definitely see a sharp drop after roughly 5k revs though, that's why the torque is all there but the power is down. Your peak power is at about 4800rpm, definitely too low.

On this topic is there any way to differentiate a vxr turbo from a z20let turbo without taking them off the car? Allegedly mine has one but I'd like proof!

The casting of the exhuast manifold is different. Take some pics and post them on here perhaps, though I can't remember the diff TBH. On reflection, Spuk87 is correct above, your torque does seem to drop off very quickly. Perhaps try the airbox mod and improve engine breating, this usually helps improve power at higher revs.

vxr turbo has a yellow "DZ" sticker on the actuator and a pink serial number plate, plus a ribbed connection for the boost pipe

mm was hoping for a better bhp but not been mapped in a long time so well worth doing now i know, cant say ive noticed it drop of at 5k thought too be honest.
