JJJ, I like a lot, do you know if it's a standard Datsun colour?

Don't know for sure Nige, but I've seen loads this colour (although not as heavily polished/wax) so I assume so.....

Are you coming along to the Time Attacks next season....? I want to try your chili

Beautiful work! I am glad you kept the swage line on the clam, it just makes it work, and the spoiler just completes it. It's probable the only conversion that looks right imo. It will look amazing in the Landrover Stornaway grey you quoted.

Hi This is all simply awesome! Don't know if I've missed this but what are the vents in the front, under the headlights from? Also, have you got and are you keeping the fog lights behind the mesh? D

Ready to take molds off but it's too fecking cold, I can't raise the temperature in the garage high enough for the resin to cure :beat: Forgotten what it's like to drive a VX :(

Must admit it does look as though it's being dragged out of the garage like a reluctant toddler being forced to do something it really doesn't want to do.....

Besides waiting for the molding stuff, when is it scheduled to be painted? Really looking forward to seeing all the lines of the new stuff.

Me too, Smiley, me too. Once the molding is done the original pattern will need to be removed, the new molded arches put on and doubtless there will be a bit of fettling to be done at that stage. I'm going to put the primer on and flat down myself but think I will bottle out of doing the top coat and lacquer. It's closer than it appears to being finished, but work and weather keeps getting in the way :(

Long overdue update, work 'n sh*t has got in the way, but a bit of progress :)
Plugs removed from the car, very satisfying to rip bits off you've spent hours shaping, filling, sanding

Molds ready to go

Gelcoat in!

Then a gentle bit of wheel arch enlargement

Hopefully the new arches will pop out of the molds tomorrow, then onto the next stage :)
