Got the Pro Alloy fuel tank in yesterday with the invaluable help of George 'V6 Exiges? Pah, I sh*t 'em' BC. Problem is the car now won't start  , suspect an electrical fault, so need to get that sorted. Getting closer though :)

You want to borrow my OP-COM?

Have you checked the pins on the connector to the fuel pump. After my Pro Alloy change the pins were not connecting with the pump properly and I was having fuel issues. push the pins out so they connect better and no issues since/

Matt, I've got op-com, hadn't thought to try it though, could it give some indication as to the source of the problem?

Deano, your thread was one of the many I've read through, plug connections seem good but really need George and his circuit tester to verify thumbsup

jameso, just beginning to stick all the bits back together, here's a quickie to be going on with

That'd be good, the laptop mine is on is absolute crap, needs binning really.

You busy tonight? Mr angry GeorgeBC is coming over so there could be three of us standing about sucking our teeth.

Pleased to say the fuel tank issue is sorted, fault traced to a dodgy crimped connector on the pump. Probably. Big thanks to GeorgeBC, he is truly a horse of a man thumbsup If anyone needs a tutorial on the refitting of the circlip to a Proalloy tank, either in situ or out of the car just let me know, as I have become quite adept at it.
