I'm going to go against the grain slightly.

That view from behind doesn't look right but the 3/4 looks excellent. Not sure what is not right (imo#0

The attention to detail is superb and craft manship is excellent though. When do we get a pic with lights?

That's the prettiest modified VX I've seen to be honest. Fantastic job, fair play to you.

I know what you mean, its maybe just missing a diffuser or something.

Thanks for all the positive responses thumbsup To answer a few questions, went for a solid colour as against a metallic purely for ease of painting, as a first time DIY-er it is much easier to spray one panel at a time. With a metallic you really need to spray the whole car in one hit to ensure even colour and in a home garage with no extraction and minimal lighting it is practically impossible to do. It's also much easier to correct any sags or runs in solid paint. Why white? More forgiving than black, fewer about than the bright orange and greens, and I think it suits a VX. And yes Rob, quite how my fcuking arm hasn't fallen off with all the rubbing down/polishing........FLD, stop touting your three vent bonnet, you know I don't like the over modified look, remember, less is more ;) Fez, that's an idea that hadn't crossed my mind tbh, but, hmmmmm..... The rear view is probably the most controversial, it's a bit marmite I'll be the first to admit. It is missing the diffuser and rear spats in that pic, and I'm also tempted to add the oem badge. The mesh under the number plate hasn't been painted black yet either, but strangely I quite like the look. Still lots to do, but definitely on the last lap now. So, would I do it all again? So, would I do it all again? N O T A F U C K I N G C H A N C E

I know this feeling. It's not just my arms that are going to fall off soon, I think my back may never forgive me, nor the fiancée...

Really looking forward to the finished article. Have you done the polishing/compound work on the panels yet?

I know that feeling well, and strangely enough it was described here too before I started mine: http://vx220.wikispa...ging the colour

That said, the only way I found out was to do it myself.

MOT'd today, passed with no advisories, boom boom, back in the room! Very strange actually driving the thing, in a good way though. One or two bits and pieces to tidy up but basicly it's a car again :o
