No sure if it was covered before had anothe quick flick back through but couldn't see anything.

With your rear cut outs did you make the ridge bit yourself on the car or did you take them off a mould? I want them on mine with the ridge part as it looks a lot tidier than just flat with mesh...

Cheers

Al

Ok thanks. Do you by any chance know who has the mould? Cheers Al

I do.  Its darcini's own.  When I finally pin him down to pick up that bonnet I'll ask if he loans it.  I doubt he'll loan it as he likes his things to be unique to his car.  He's moving his works at the moment so getting hold of him is like catching smoke!  I pestered him via email last week and I've heard nowt. :tumble:

Got ya, no worries that's understandable if he doesn't I'll just have to make an attempt at my own design. That's kl mate no worries I've got the sills and all the other parts to get prepped and painted before the bonnet so not in a massive rush just now.

I've actually lent the moulds to a forum member but can't remember who.......

By far the best executed revamp of a VX. I especially like the front clam modifications. The rear lights look great too. Aesthetically however, I'm not sure about the rear lower cut out. It looks like Joe (and his dremel) has had something to do with it. I wonder if the ford s-max front wheel arch vents could fit the VX?

I'm fairly sure Darcini would say they do.

Darcini is a wee bit distracted at the mo. I'll nudge him to post some pics as it really does look good.

I recently found some nice round LED rear lights on ebay, that looked very similar to the Lotus lights. The big difference was that they much cheaper. That's why I bought them, made a few changes at my car and replaced the old lights.

Then I waited for the sun to set to check my new rear lights in the dark. Of course I filmed the "function check" with my camcorder. This is the result:
