Nice, looking very aggressive, What colour, OEM or something new? Good to see you've cured the front wheel gap syndrome.

I love the re-use of the black plastic wheel arch trim on the rear wheel arch. I also really like the way the front wheel arch blends into the sill which is then matched on the rear. Great effort and great result. Looks like the front wheel arch needs a little addition where it blends at the bottom of the front clam, but maybe you have plans to blend it to a splitter or something like that?

Looks great have been thinking of this myself, would you sell copies of this? How much wider will the car be on each side, approx? ,Per

Looks really great superb work on it looks like a totally different car from the rear half. Have to agree with JG with his exacting eye, never spotted till he said though.

Exactly this, I have a Dempert(?) front splitter that the leading edge of the arches blends into quite nicely, by luck rather than by design has to be said.
95% decided on a metallic grey, Landrover Stornaway grey or for something a bit lighter the Jag Lunar grey maybe.

I will have to take molds off these, they are too flexible to not cause cracking problems once painted, plus there must be kg's of filler and fibreglass paste slapped on. When replaced with nice lightweight fibreglass copies I would expect there to be a weight reduction once the original clam is cut away from underneath them. May go some way to slightly offsetting the extra weight of wider wheels and tyres....

If all goes well I will be looking at replicating a couple of sets of them if anyone would be interested, but that's a fair way away at the moment.
Cheers for all the nice comments guys.

FLD is in the process of developing the coupe top based on my original mold, check his thread out as I'm sure he's looking at going into a limited production run of them thumbsup It's hinged from underneath he roll bar cover with a pair of laser cut J shaped brackets, supported by two gas struts. The arches widen the overall width of the car by approx 100mm in total. Once the car is complete I'll have time to replicate the rear light mouldings and arches if anyone fancies having a go themselves, but, be warned, the lights in particular are not for the faint hearted ;)
