So i am trying to decide what black to have my turbo spoiler painted I have Speedlinealikes, which are satin black, but wondered whether a satin black spoiler would look crap, assume MMG diffuser is going to be satin black ? any one got any pics of satin / gloss black spoilers, preferably on calypso NA thanks

Diffuser will be satin black. You should do the spoiler glossy

I have gloss black spoiler, difuser and tubby ears with gun metal alloys. I have seen a satin black spoiler on a VXR and it does look really good.

Just got a quote of £85.00 to paint the spoiler, prime and paint it gloss black, is that reasonable, seems a bit steep to me !

If that's including fitting then it's a bargain.

No, doesn't include fitting, isn't that just a case of gluing onto the back and strapping in place, leave overnight, and job done!?

So, finally got the spoiler painted and fitted, a long with MMG diffuser and Compomotives , really like the new look of the car, maybe looking at improving performance now, but few pics after managing to wax it today, in between rain!!!!

Thanks, yes might get the fuel cap done, although not that bothered, same with window surround and front V, think next Mod ( if any ) will be super charging, or i may keep as it is and get an Exige S, love to keep both, but doubt that's feasible!

Stage2 SC vx is lighter and more powerful than an Exige S. VX might not win for looks but £25k on a lotus or spend £5k on the vx and make it a track weapon?
