I've been out playing today again. Its really is astounding. The pull up from high speed just has be experienced. Then i thought about what else i could throw at it. There are some very bumpy roads not far from here, on which you would have winced at having to slow quickly on. I approached it as fast as i dared and just stood on the brake pedal. With no drama nor fuss, the pedal pulsated gently and i gradually removed my face from the windscreen.

Great job by Andy and his guys this morning :) Took about 10 minutes and it works perfectly. He's happy to do anyone else who needs it and the cost was £30. Cheers, Phil

Just driven 20 miles home over some bumpy B roads and the difference is incredible. Soooo much more confidence for the braking - it's like a proper ABS setup! Definitely get this done if you can. Phil

I have an update too, it seems that my affords last week to get an answer from Dick Lovett Swindon weren't all in vain, they have moved locations and Paul the service chap called me today to apologise, He can't give me a day yet as the IT systems are not set up following the move but until further notice he can do it but not for much longer he thinks. Anyway he will call me asap to do the activation and it might be worth a few in the Swindon area all going along, no idea on price yet and the above post at Maidstone sports cars is very good at £30 but its a 3 hour drive for me each way so not so cheap. Anyone interested in coming to DL pm me your number and I will see if we can arrange something. Marc

Late update from me on this one, but I've paid for mine now too.
So was there a consensus on where was best to get it activated for us Bedfordshire lot?

Try Silverstone Lotus or Lotus Silverstone, whichever way around it is. If no joy there, it looks like Dick Lovett Swindon or Maidstone Sports Cars and take your pick as to which is less painful to get to.

I'm not too far from Swindon so if people are REALLY struggling if you post me ABS unit I could drive down and get it activated on my car then post back (so long as my costs and postage covered).

I just spoke to them and they say they 'physically' cannot do it. Not sure what they mean by physically as its only the tech 3 tool. I've not pushed it with them yet - who did you deal with there techieboy as it might be worth me speaking to them :)

Thanks

Maybe a little more than what others have paid but seems reasonably fair.

I've just spoken to Andy at Maidstone Sports Cars and he was very helpful indeed. He explained what needs to be done and how they do it. I've spoken to both Poole and Silverstone who both have been far from helpful :( so as much as the 6 hour round trip will hurt, I'm off to get mine done on Monday with Andy. Looks like th best bet so far is Maidstone for anyone still looking for somewhere to get this done

Well that's annoying.
Did Silverstone give a reason why they couldn't do it?
