Sold mine as the money is better spent else where IMO. Cut the abs and learn the braking bite point on the car.

Does having the ABS not working cause a sticky point in the unfortunate event of an accident/insurance claim?

Just a case of turning the ABS back on if you do have a bad experience.

Maybe if the car is a daily drive then the unit is worth the money as ice mode goes. Then again the wheels still locked up with the 4 channel unit under heavy braking as the abs would be over powered. This could be down to the tyres but it won't cure lockup issues.

Just to let you all know, I have spoken to a friend that works at Lotus (actually he's a friend of Way-ay-pete on here really) and his price direct from within the walls of Hethel is at least £600... Suppose they have to get the money they need for their five model plan somewhere.! Anyway, just wanted to post and let you know - this price really does seem like a good deal. G

As much as it hurts me to say this due to the excellent price JG has managed to get hold of I'm going to have to put all vx plans on hold as it looks like the g/f may be leaving her job and £450 is better spent on food :/

Sorry JG, I'm also out... I've got used to the hard brake pedal just by pressing it harder which works for me. (1706 hoon miles helped me get used to it) plus, I've also got a disable switch fitted.

James,
I'm on stag do as of tomorrow, and then away in US with work all of next week - so if you don't get a reply etc for a while you know why. Still in for this though.
