Are you definitely allowed to not show for one event then still swap a driver for an event?

I don't think that;s the problem tbh. I think a second driver can no longer score points towards his campaign full stop regardless of round drops!

Chris. I'm trying to help you mate. I've spoken to you on the phone, sent you emails, pm's texts and you do not listen. If you get caught out you wont be getting any refunds as far as I can see as you may have misunderstood your situation. It's not an easy distinction and the likes of James L sin't always 100% on the regs.
The info I got was from the rules and regs. I know you think you've made some deal which goes outside the rules but when the other competitors see this sort of thing they may kick off and you'll be left out in the cold.
Just take 5 mins and send Glen an Emai to clarify your position to avoid any grief further down the line. Stop being cocky.

- Only competitors entering for the Championships 7 Rounds will be eligible to compete for Championship honours
For Pro Classes the Championship points are awarded on the vehicle and for Club Challenge points are awarded on the driver, details:
- Pro Classes; any number of driver changes are allowed within the season, there can only be one nominated driver per event and the nominated driver is the one who has signed on in the morning, only one driver can sign on at each round
- Club Challenge Classes; drivers are eligible to substitute their vehicle once within the season, the vehicle must be of the same drive train and the change can be made at any time prior to or at the round and the change must be made prior to the Qualifying session, once the vehicle has been substituted at a round it cannot be changed back to the original vehicle
- If a vehicle is being substituted at a round then the organisers and the chief scrutineer must be made aware of the changes before it can compete
