this is an engine for the btcc MG


Not sure whether it's just the angle of the picture but that must have a really compact bellhousing, given the location of the turbo.

this is a confusing thread summary of topic so far can one reverse the head of a z22se why what like a xe but swindon reversed an xe (same orientation as Z22se) swindon btcc engines are based on ecotec family 2

summary of topic so far

can one reverse the head of a z22se

you missed out the v6 option I mentioned which has its intake between the V ancillaries, and exhaust routing above gearbox

standard gearbox bolts up, plus trionic 8 suite ( knock control is done by ion voltage on the individual coil packs )

That can be a very interesting turbo position for an DI-LNF engine in a VX220. (or turbo my LSJ... :happy: )
Any pics of the exh. manifold on this turbo set-up?

F23 or M32, its standard GM pattern , it does also come with a 4wd option

I think you would want the bell housing for a front mount starter iirc

Looks like the 'Ecotec' pattern, with front mounted starter position, so NA gearbox (and what ever ratios you see fit). Its the electronics side that usually flumoxes me. I though CANBUS-based systems were a major pain (assuming this is)?

CAN is not hard to get round, just time consuming..... CANBUS is nearly impossible to get round as its existence is as real as Unicorns.
