Morning all, I'm taking the car to the Alps on Thursday and am unsure on my lights. My old s2 Elise had a switch to shift them for continental driving but other cars need lenses shifting stickers. Done a search but found nothing conclusive so what do I need to do all you euro blasters must know? :-)

No built-in adjusters. So it's stickers only, if you really feel the need to alter them.

That's one of the guides I saw, but rather than the lense shifter stickers they saw just use some tape so it it just Gaffer tape that's needed??

I would use electricity tape, as it has less agressive adhesive, that should not affect the UV lacker layer on the lense.

Nice one thanks all. Happy to save on stickers as the cost of all you need is insane!

Don't do it. Not worth damaging your precious (valuable) headlights with tape. Gendarmes are much more interested in catching you speeding than headlight tape!

right now I'm paranoid as I've just put light conversion stickers on my headlights, does this ruin your lights? won't be happy if I have to get 2 new ones

over 2k miles so far with no stickers and no problem. one thing i didnt realise is that there are 'environmental zones' in some of Germanys major cities which by law requires an emissions plankette on your car. i didnt get one due to not realise but liuckily didnt have any problems (i was parked in underground garage thought). i also didnt realise that you needed a vignette to drive on the motorways in Austria (they are 10 day, 1 month or yearly).
