Sigh!
So I was wrong.
It was a bit to many words for my English in that write up.

I'm suprised you got ice mode on track. I took my car to goodwood last year, the track was completely soaked. There were local flood warnings it was that bad. My 4 channel unit didn't go into ice mode once, in fact it performed absolutely perfectly. That was with 16" wheels on the front as well.
The only time I ever got ice mode with my 4 channel unit was on a bumpy road on the peaks cruise last year. Strange how it varies from car to car.

damper settings can change a lot how the car loads up the grip during braking , your braking stability is only as good as your lowest point of grip

That makes sense. It was the first track day I did with the Quantums fitted.

What about just stay at home! Brought to you by WWW.BongoMotorSport.bong Thanks.or the real options are 1) press harder (while screaming) 2) fit ABS cut off switch 3) unplug sensors (same outcome as above) 4) upgrade to 4 channel ABS unit (which has newer code, which also has mixed reviews) 5) Brake earlier for bends 6) Buy a MX5
