I need some help with my alarm it's the OEM version.

I've plugged it in today after being off for month during the rebuild and is wont shut up!!

I've disconnected the Siren for now but alarm still goes off and indicators flash, key fob presses don't do a thing.

However if I hold in the button on the fob is you can hear the relays in the alarm clicking slowly.. Let go and alarm sounds again. If you let the alarm sound it does shut up after a while but again no key fob pressing disarms it!!

Any help would be appreciated!

Is there a sequence to reset alarm after flat battery or being disconnected for long periods of time??

Cheers
Matty!!

One assumes your batteries in your alarm fob are ok? :) There is an alarm unit for sale on eBay at the moment if you need a new one (the sale has nothing to do with me)

Have you got the alarm code card? You might need to re-associate the fob to the alarm.

Lol, that's why I never set it while I owned it. I believe it was the passenger door switch that was goosed as after opening and closing every opening and it going quiete with the pax door gave that game away.
