Ive made him a offer for the car already which as been provisionally accepted. Whats its worth providing all is good?

You probably should have asked that before making the offer. Doing it this way just dicks people around.

Yes i totally agree and did consider this before i made the offer. Just thought i would ask for other peoples opinions. Will be paying exactly what i offered if it all checks out.

Ha, UPDATE: Went for a gander and checked everything u guys mentioned, literally had this thread up on my phone and went through the lot! Im happy to say all is good, the car is beautiful and the seller seemed a really decent guy! (was pretty much crying when i get there too cos he daugher as just supprised the family with a unexpected visit for the army) Drove it back from west Birmingham to Huddersfield with no problems what so ever except a windy noise from the passenger side which i had in my lotus too. Im absolutely shocked by the acceleration, never felt anything like it in my life! Puts my previous elise to shame! Quite scary if I'm honest! Got a short list of the mods too but I'm guessing there maybe a few more i don't know about yet but will get some pictures up later today and hopefully you guys can help me there :) It has: AmD stage 2, Pagid pads, Mil-tek exhaust, Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 light wheels, Toyo Tyres which seem new, Central locking. Again thanks a lot for all for help on this, really appreciated! and fingers crossed for no future problems!
