i've just had my renewal quote come through from CCI, not good. They have now capped all mileage at 7500 and my policy has increased over £200.00 although no claims have been made and i've been with them for the past 3 years.

Doubt ill be renewing with them so who can you guys recommend?

Anyone else had this problem recently?

it's my daily drive and a standard N/A

Be warned (as discussed repeatedly in recent months), but insurance premiums have gone up again this year - in part due to the Euro crisis. So don'y expect too much

Think the problem with CCI is they now only want to cover cars used as weekend toys basically. If you have commuting on there you're screwed. G

I moved the ClassicLine too this year. Standard Turbo and £380 (which includes breakdown cover). Doesn't cover commuting. But they'd only allow me (as a new customer) up to 5000 miles. Why are you so special Gordon to get 10,000?

Do you want a list

I think she told me its an na and less likely to spin off the road so would up the mileage.

I put non commuting as I only live a few miles from work and can bike. I then rang to ask could i still use the car for work an odd time if I needed to carry stuff or if the weather was to bad and was told she would amend the policy no problem no charge.

Yeah, bore me at the bar on Friday and Saturday.

I had the discussion about the odd commute too and was told if it was once or twice a month (which is what I said it might be maximum) there wouldn't be a problem.

I asked Admiral, how much of a reduction to I get if I take commuting and business off the VX but leave it on the other car, and they wanted an extra £8 per year :) To which I replied.... No thanks.
