You have to get a filter just before the high pressure pump, especially with a Bosch 044 which can be very sensitive to this.
As my pump is integrated in the swirl pot would you recommend I break into fuel line A with a 100 micron filter, then another filter directly after the pump (as shown)?

Also guys, the electrical connection is the next thing I have to deal with.....
Where would I pick up the supply for the high pressure pump...? Slave it off the existing pump controller...? There's talk of this needing a high current supply so is this sufficient or should I run a fused line from the battery and come up with some form of relay to control it...?

Keep in mind when selecting a new/alternative fuel filter: OEM fuel filters are usually 8 micron or better.
Bye, Arno.

thats why i selected the 8micron posted above
Yeah sure the 8 micron will be after the second pump to protect the engine, I am talking about the first filter after the first pump to protect the second pump
Annnyway - - - The Fuel rail adapters. Do we have a UK source for these or do they have to be ordered from the states..?

I'm making a new set to fit direct to the rail.
They may not be done in time for you though Jimmy. You can always upgrade later.
I had the same problem as Mike, took half a mm off the return adaptor and its now fine.
Yup, that was the issue I had as well.
Damn this thread, I need to fit my bladder tank now.

That's not baffled! Why not sell me the bladder tank and spend the money on tyres That would make MORE sense
