Ok so here's a filter with male fittings, how do I attach the hose to this...? Is there a single backnut I can buy to do the job....?

Hi Jimmy, be a little wary when you tighten those aluminium fittings mate, I can't remember what torque they need but it's less than you'd imagine. If you repeatedly disasemble them and re-fit them with too much torque the threads will strip very fast.

I'll bet they are hung on the wall in size order having been polished for at least an afternoon.

Does anyone know the fitting on the oem fuel filter? I am replacing the line from there to the swirl pot and thought I might leave that in place. also I was thinking of putting an adapter on the return line ( near the fuel filter) to attach a new braided line, with the intension of replacing the couplings on the in tank pump later and connecting the pipes together, not perfect but I think it should be ok? Which coupling to use?

ive just spoken to jon and he tells me there is a new fuel pump coming to replace the standard tank one which supplies nearly double the fuel the 044 does at the same bar but he has to check to see if its a straight swap. might be of interest to you.
