cool...rang a guy week or so ago and he wanted £40 to come and switch off light....riro
For an hours tinkering and a £40 part why bother?
Check the resistance of the sensor with a millimeter and I'll bet 5p it is a broken cable. Find the break, cut out the damaged section, crimp or solder back together and then wrap it with electrical tape (and a smear of vaseline) and I suspect it will be working fine. Cost = about 10p
