Had my VX out properly for the first time today but keep getting the EML light come on the dash. Seems to happen after drinving for a bit, stopping for a while and then driving again light comes back on. I've re-set using Cliffies ScanGuage 3 times today. I've done a search on the site and looks like it's the Lamda Sensor. But not sure which one it would be?? Any Ideas?? FAULT CODE P0141. Cheers! Matty (With a burnt forehead!!)

For an hours tinkering and a £40 part why bother?

Check the resistance of the sensor with a millimeter and I'll bet 5p it is a broken cable. Find the break, cut out the damaged section, crimp or solder back together and then wrap it with electrical tape (and a smear of vaseline) and I suspect it will be working fine. Cost = about 10p

I think I'll do this check before buying a new Lamda but probably worth renewing as looks like it's been on the car since new lol
