Hey,
I just sold my DC5 Type R as im looking for a RWD car and ive got my mind set on a VX220 Turbo. Im a big track day nut and spend most of my time in the gravel trap at Paddock Hill! Looking forward to getting to know the forum and the car, when i get it
Cheers,
Nige.

I think he did. Here is a story for you - I'll te=ry and keep it short.
Shortly after I bought my own VX I started seeing a Lightning edition while travelling to work coming in the opposite direction. After a few months I saw the same car up for sale on pistonheads. I contacted the guy through pistonheads and we got into a dialog for a few months. To cut a long story short we agreed to meet up and compare cars. When we met up (two nights ago) and chatted he told me he had a prospective buyer coming up from Surrey to see it. The next night he texted to say he had sold the car.
I believe this is the lightning in question here. Lovely car - well worth the money paid. LY No 15 40,000 miles.

Yup im the new owner, so chuffed! Needs a little TLC to the paintwork as a few bits are cracking, and a little touch up on the interior but overall a sound and very cared for car! Just got to get used to the ridiculously heavy steering when cornering or maneuvering as there's no power steering! Il start a new thread abit later with some pics if the weather cheers up
