This unit is made with sample parts that I sourced while designing the heater sold in the group buy section, it is identical in construction and quality to the items I will provide when I start completing the group buy orders in approx. 6 weeks, the only difference is these parts got to me by express shipping rather than boat. As a result I am selling it separately to make it more fair than singling out a single person from the group buy to offer it to, however all are welcome to buy it.

Details:

Custom 660 m3/h blower, retains the original 3 fan speeds (larger unit for more airflow at a lower speed - less fan noise)
Custom galvanised steel enclosure, powdercoated black
Custom electronic heat control - all cables and knobs provided - replaces metal cable control (no more stiff controls or broken cables)
Rubber grommets to isolate fan vibration/noise from the rest of the car
Filter to prevent debris ingress
Radiator pressure tested to 2 bar (equivalent of 120 deg. C)
Provided with all parts required; stainless fasteners, neoprene ducting, hoses

I will provide further photos this evening or tomorrow

Price

£320 - shipping £12

I don't have time to offer fitting with this unit (because i'm spending my time building 75 more), but will have a fitting guide available by the weekend.

feel free to ask any questions

I can take up to about 90 people. More than that and I will have to have an additional 30-40 people commit to start a new batch.

With respect, pull your finger out. It'll be winter again soon.

Unfortunately not - the original price in the group buy was based on using a secondhand polo unit. This had a number of problems such as leaking radiators so I redesigned it into the unit seen here - this unit uses all new, custom made parts that I simply can't afford to offer for £250. I will update the group buy to reflect this soon.

I start completing the group buy orders in approx. 6 weeks

I've had to complete redesign the unit and get custom parts made. Everyone who wants one will have one by the end of autumn.

How much of an increase are we talking about?
V1 started life at £200ish didn't it? We're now at £300+?

Yeah it's a bit of a mess. I'll try to tidy it up at the weekend - might need some moderator help with that too.

(and finally get around to buying a premium membership)

Each to their own. I use mine every day and after one winter of wrapping up warm and a summer of waiting for T7Designs to build one, I made my own. If I only used mine at the weekends I wouldn't have made them.
