Lovely work. B)

I am drunk. So I'd like a CF windscreen.

Do you think this would affect my insurance premium?

Me too, I find this very amusing :D

I'd be interested in CF spats also...

Now that I've sobered up, I'd like inner side sills.

Is this wet lay Matt or pre preg? Very impressive! I've just rejected a CF hardtop from a company after waiting ages for the fecker. Maybe I should tell them to come and headhunt you.

Thats wetlay. Unfortunately I dont have an autoclave or an oven suitable for pre-preg. (I'm also FAR to tight to be shelling out £90 per M for the stuff!). Lightweight carbon hard top is on my list of things but its low down on a long list!

Amazing mate. I don't think I can adequately explain how difficult it is to do what you he done there and end up with that finish. You know you are in the wrong job? Unless you are a very very good chemist of course lol.

I'm rubbish! Still contemplating various career options. :) I'm fancying a HT made in spread tow cloth but thats supposed to be tough to handle.

Laminators are on surprisingly good money, pattern makers even better and pretty much a job for life as good ones are valued in companies like gold dust!

Finally got round to fitting these. The ears weigh in at 282g and 279 so fairly consistent. I then used a boat load of epoxy bonding in the vents so the weight saving is only 100g per side. Still, they look ok :poof:

Got the dash plates in too. For those with carbon plates I have used some small 3mm hardboard pieces in the back with velcro stuck on it. This does the job nicely. I had tried 5mm balsa but its too thick.

Yeah, been thinking about the main undertray. I was thinking of having a go with the spread tow cloth and a foam core. Should be mega rigid and mega light.
