As my heater box disintergrated when i fitted a new battery today

If anyone is worried that this has gone quiet, it's because i'm assembling units - each box contains 4 blowers.

just thought i'd give a bit of feedback on this heater fitted mine yesterday, was fairly trouble free. all went fairly smoothly, dash off, battery out, old heater out - not the worst job ive done on a vx hardest part was getting the outlet hose on as theres not much clearance from the servo unit. managed to get it on in the end (used a jubilee clip) and "persuaded" it into position the fan seems to flow a lot more, and the air feels a lot warmer than before so it's a result. while youve got the dash off it's worth sealing up where the air ducting meets the dash, i used silicone and has done a good job. so yeah, pretty happy with it so far!!

The flow rate is about 4 to 6 x as much as the standard unit, the heat delivery is harder to quantify because I haven't had a chance to do a direct comparison, it is much improved over the original unit. Hopefully Andy will give more details.

not sure how much more detail i can give really its significantly hotter and it blows more. based on that id recommend one for us all year round vx-ers it is a bit fiddley to fit, there was plenty of swearing and blood loss, but i got it done in a day with lots of coffee breaks

I've made the filter standard on all of them - easier for me when assembling them.

The filter is intended to stop gunk getting blown inside the cabin - dust, leaves and flies ect.

I'm happy for you to collect.
